As I local I can confidently say this is by far the best restaurant in town. My husband and I frequent The Mill about once a month. As well, weekly for the Saturday AM bakery. We have had many wonderful meals here, just the two of us, or with friends. We’ve done many tasting menus, celebrations, just casual meals, as well as the Kitchen Counter Experience. We find the price to be well within reason, and very comparable to other restaurants in town. Where The Mill comes out on top is service and quality. We’re never disappointed by what The Mill has to offer.
My partner & I did our late Valentine’s Day dinner here over the long weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We were lucky to be seated with a water view, the area offered a very lovely & relaxed atmosphere with many other couples. We started with the Mezza platter which was alright, we wanted to try some of the local produce but probably wouldn’t get it again. We both ordered the Beef Sirloin, they were cooked to our perfection & had amazing flavour mixed with the bed of spinach. I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes with shredded meat on the bottom, my partner not as much as he did get a few bones/cartilage. The flavour was fantastic though!
Finally able to try this long anticipated restaurant in the small town of Elora on mother’s day! We were a party of 8 celebrating mother’s day as well as my wife’s birthday. We were shown to our table right away even though we were early. We shared couple of appetizer platters, and our mains were lamb, fish, beef and a couple of pasta dishes. No issue with food as all were fresh and delicious, flavours were right on point without overshadowing the main ingredients. We were pleasantly surprised by the honey bottle per ladies as a gift for mother’s day, nice touch for sure. The only thing I would criticize is the menu was a bit thin with limited variety of choices, and portion was a bit on the small side. Other than that this is a must visit restaurant when in Elora. The town of Elora was a bit overrated in my opinion but this restaurant definitely lived up to its expectations.
Service and food were great, especially for the price and view. Highly recommend! Ordered these three dishes, and they were all delicious. The salad is a must try for sure! (Forgot what it's called, but just check the photo ) I booked a table a few days in advance, then arrived about 15min early just to request a window view at the lower level.
Stunning restaurant with a relaxed vibe and beautiful views. I tried the hen chicken which was delicious. Menu is elaborate with lots of great items. The vibe is old school it's definitely a must when in Elora. Cocktails are also on point. Would love to try their dinner.
Had an unforgettable birthday dinner at this amazing fine dining restaurant! The food quality was top-notch and the premium service truly elevated the entire experience. I was impressed by their variety of vegetarian options, which is a great touch. I absolutely loved the lamb—it was incredibly juicy, fresh, and tender, probably the best I’ve had since moving to Canada. Everything from the ambiance to the attention to detail made it a great and memorable evening. Highly recommend for any special occasion or if you’re just in the mood to treat yourself! Staff is so welcoming and friendly.
Visited Elora Mill for the long weekend and had dinner at the restaurant. We had a terrific experience - our waiter provided the best service of information and advice, and the food was just right for us. We had appetizers and mains (pasta with added beef and scallops), and left very satisfied. Will definitely be back.
First time dining at the Elora Mills Restaurant. Definitely an amazing experience and services. Our server, she was great, very attentive and recommended us on the oyster appetizer and it’s so good. The food we ordered were so, so delicious and the portions were perfect for lunch. The Pan roasted trout ( must); Mills burger; mushrooms pasta, honey brûlée; drinks we had Tea Time; cat meow (no pic) and it’s alcohol free and my husband had the elora lager which we end up picking up couple of cans at the Elora Brewery down the street. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
